Irish Flag[edit]

Geographically Ireland is part of the British Isles. The 'British Isles' has always been the term to describe these areas whether they're British or not (for some reason). :P--Tlle1 (talk) 11:02, 20 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, the word "British" meant the islands first, before it had anything to do with the UK; then it was used by the UK as their demonym, because there is basically no other word which covers the English, Scots, Welsh and Cornish. - Oisín^(Message) 22:07, 16 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Northern Ireland[edit]
