- Geographically Ireland is part of the British Isles. The 'British Isles' has always been the term to describe these areas whether they're British or not (for some reason). :P--Tlle1 (talk) 11:02, 20 September 2008 (UTC)
Northern Ireland[edit]
The flag used for Northern Ireland is no longer recgonised and has not been official for over 30 years. Markmc93 (talk) 19:42, 20 March 2010 (UTC)
