I'm not well-versed in copyright (or copyleft) law. I am a member of the Peace and Freedom Party's California State Central Committee - the party's governing body - since 1992. It is my understanding that the Peace and Freedom Party logo, comprising a dove (symbolizing peace), a broken chain (symbolizing freedom), and the name of the party, are free to use in the context of identifying the party. Various copyright "bots" have interfered with this entirely proper and authorized use of our logo on Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons. I, and the California State Central Committee, would like that to stop. --Davecampbell (talk) 21:09, 5 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
