The corresponding page shows a gasifier with four air inlet nozzles (tuyères), an even number. But that is contrary to some advice I have seen on the internet, which stated that there should be an odd number so as to avoid any pair facing each other, as with that there was a risk of a through flow burning straight through and turning one into an unintended exhaust.
