The y-axis scale is out by 1000 times! it should be km^3 not km^3 *1000. There's only a tiny amount compared with land ice.

Answer: I was thinking that once too, but it's alright. It's because the ice area is in the range of some 10 million km^2 and the thickness in the range of m, so you end up in the range of 10000 km^3. Dominiklenne (talk) 12:51, 6 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
