2014 logo update[edit]

The original pre-2014 logo (ca. 2012) was obtained from Brands of the World as an Encapsulated PostScript file and converted to Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) format. Another user made an inept attempt to replace the image with the new 2014 version by uploading a PNG file to Commons, where it was promptly deleted and the image was automatically delinked from the article, leaving the article Infobox with no logo. Accordingly, I obtained the latest version of the logo, with the 2014 tagline "come back renewed", directly from a Princess Cruises PDF cruise brochure and created a new SVG file from the vector data. Since Wikipedia policy only permits storage of copyrighted works such as company logos if they are actually used under Fair Use in an article, it did not make sense to create a new file with all the editing it would entail, but rather simply overwrite the existing file with the new version. — Quicksilver (Hydrargyrum)T @ 15:45, 29 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
