1. "The poster is wrong, period": The original poster is NOT wrong. You guys just assumed that it was wrong. Pretty sure they did it in purpose, as all the writings in Hangul are correct. For some reason, JTBC did not upload the poster on the drama's website but you can check it from JTBC News, Daum and Naver. These are reliable sources for anything related to South Korean topics.
2. "I do not believe it's the promotional poster": The title of this article by JTBC News has "티저 포스터", means Teaser Poster.
3. Also, there is no evidence that the current English poster is an "official" one as it is only used by DramaFever. Accireioj (talk) 11:39, 11 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
as discussed with @Maineartists:, the original poster was in portrait direction (which the Korean character read that way in the portrait design), but the 45% angle make the photo element looks better in landscape direction. Also, apparently the company also release a English poster with landscape direction. Since this is English wikipedia, it does not make sense to use Korean portrait direction version, as in English world, the English landscape direction version is the version to identify the drama "Secret Love Affair" Matthew_hk tc 15:30, 11 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Secret Love Affair is NOT even the official English title of the TV series. I tried to upload the original poster (portrait) because I wanted to move the article. The official English title released by JTBC Worldwide (their legit English website) is Secret Affair. Again, the current English poster is ONLY used by DramaFever. "This is the English WP; who speaks Korean?", when almost ALL of the Korean TV series here on English WP used the original posters (Korean posters). as you said you can't find any "official" Korean poster in the drama website that was set up by JTBC , it just flipping the word reliable source and "official ". Matthew_hk tc 12:12, 12 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
So this article written by JTBC 방송뉴스팀 (JTBC Broadcast News Team) and released on the network's website isn't reliable enough?? Well then, this is the production company's website (Drama House is part of 제이티비씨콘텐트허브 or JTBC Content Hub) and here's their page for the drama: Link here. Just a side note on DramaFever since you are relying on it. I will give an example for their titles and posters. For Mother, tvN's official English title is Mother as seen on the poster and the drama's website, however DramaFever used Call Me Mother. So what should we use? The poster/title by DramaFever?? Accireioj (talk) 01:06, 12 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
The poster uploaded by Accireioj is correct. It is the official one and it doesn't need rotating since the Korean is correct (Korean is read from left-to-right just like English and can be read from top to bottom). The one you are uploading is a fan-translated one from God know where (you did not change the source). Also, there is no rule against uploading non-English posters, heck, even citations can be in non-English. Plus, there is also no rule stating that images should be landscape oriented, if that was the case, all movie posters should be changed to landscape. Please read MOS:IMAGES. Therefore, I see no reason to change it and I'm reverting it to Accireioj's. In addition, if you want to enforce new rules, there should be a bigger discussion, not just 2 users agreeing on something and reverting other user's changes.
