DATAR (disambiguation)Datar – No evidence that the battlefield information system is the primary topic for lowercase Datar versus the many people with the last name. Massviews has it as the 8th-most viewed page listed on the DAB (though a couple were just added). I believe the primary redirect is unwarranted and the DAB should be at the lowercase title (given the many people with the name). Skarmory (talk • contribs) 04:57, 10 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Weak support there isn't much called with the lower case but it seems that the lower case may not have a primary topic. Crouch, Swale (talk) 18:30, 10 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Even if only because of how many British English speakers will pronounce "data" as "datar", there's no way the specialized Canadian military topic is primary there. Indeed the history of these navigation pages shows they were initially meant for uppercase only, and the lowercase was initially used by mistake. (Ideally we don't need a long discussion to fix a simple error from 2007, but hey.) --Joy (talk) 18:37, 10 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
