Odd or incorrect expression?[edit]
"Some eleven of them were dished a fine . . ." – is this a localized expression or an error? As a native BrE speaker in his sixth decade (who by coincidence lived for a year of his first in Singapore) I have never encountered this exact usage. ". . . dished out . . ." would make more sense, but is slangy and unencyclopedic. {The poster formerly known as 87.81.230.195} 212.95.237.92 (talk) 12:44, 6 June 2014 (UTC)
