Pot 'O Gold (Glee)[edit]

  • ALT1:... that for the episode "Pot o' Gold", The Glee Project winner Damian McGinty was shoved into a locker 25 times on his first day of filming for Glee?
  • Comment: Starting on October 5, 2011, the article was expanded from a redirect page. The hook can be found in the Production section's second paragraph. Also, the supplied alternate hook is basically the original hook with the clauses moved around, in case it looks better. This was McGinty's first day ever filming for Glee, not just for that episode. Finally, the one source we have for the title gives it as "Pot O' Gold"; the page was created back when the orthography was completely unclear and only available through suspect sourcing. As the reliable source is not Fox itself, the actual title could use upper or lower case for the "O'", but we won't know until the official Fox press release appears in eight or nine days.

  • Going with initial hook. Hook verified online, article ready, 5x expansion confirmed per DYKcheck! Rcej (Robert)talk 04:41, 10 October 2011 (UTC)
  • Fixed the Glee link in the hook so it points to the series page, not to a disambiguation page. BlueMoonset (talk) 13:52, 10 October 2011 (UTC)
  • Would like to change the opening of the hook from "on his first day of filming the Glee episode "Pot o' Gold"," to "on his first day of filming Glee, for the episode "Pot o' Gold"," in order to retain the fact that this was his first ever day of filming the show, not just the first day for that episode. (Alternate wording: "on his first day of filming his first Glee episode, "Pot o' Gold","). Is that okay? BlueMoonset (talk) 17:24, 10 October 2011 (UTC)
How about:
The problem is that isn't strictly accurate: he'd definitely been at work in the recording studio days before that first day of filming when he had 25 encounters with the locker, and might have had dance practice and costume fittings, too. Instead, how about some minor modifications to the front end of ALT2 before the first comma, and also adding a comma I really want between the episode title and Glee Project, to get ALT3, and three extra words to get from ALT3 to ALT4:
I think ALT6 (below) makes ALT5 smoother by striking the "of", and giving the full title of the reality show to break the "Glee and Glee" rhythm, but if you strongly disagree with the latter, feel free to remove the "The" again and call it a wrap:
  • I'll go with ALT6 :) Rcej (Robert)talk 02:55, 12 October 2011 (UTC)
