• Expansion of Home Grounds Section. Focus on History of the Grounds and their relevance to the club.  Done

Sydney Swans (3/18)

• Lead Changes
  • Split Premierships and Foundation VFL member Done
  • Move the reserves mention to below the Foundation VFL member in the same paragraph. Done
  • Add information such as colours behind the grounds at the bottom.style="background: #FFD; vertical-align: middle; text-align: center; " class="partial table-partial"|Pending
  • Remove Recency section for after 2000 etc, as it's not relevant to the club as a whole like a lead should be. SHould be left with four paragraphs - Intro, Foundation VFL, Premiership and Other. Done
  • Remove references if covered elsewhere per Leadcite Done

• History Changes
  • Merge the two history sections! Done
    • Furthermore, change the time blocks to better points of significance.
  • Pre-Sydney history.
    • Add more to pre-history sections. In particular - the entry to the VFL (which is a single sentence!). All five need doing, but this is the worst.
    • Could be worth carving out a new section for the 70s individually. Swans made the finals in 1970 for the first time in ages, and were saddled with huge debts. Worth noting seperate.
    • Merge Origins and VFA, VFL entry and first premierships. Make the split after WW1, say 1920 - then split again Post-WW2 for the unsuccessfuly period.
    • Remove Media from the pre-history, possibly relocate to elsewhere in the article.
  • Post-Sydney history
    • Cut Back
      • What is the most important, and what isn't?
        • Player Information is 100% not important, especially the way it lists out numerous players.
        • Extreme detail on unremarkable events, such as the John Longmire section having 3 paragrapahs on 2015 (where the Swans did not make the Grand Final)
        • The most detail should be on 2012 and 2005, particularly the latter due to its role.
    • Remove some media again
  • AFLW needs its own section

• Club Identity
  • Remove the Sponsors from the text. They can have their own section.
  • Guernsey Table
  • Add Club Logo Section
  • Port doesn't need a mention in the club song section. They used the same tune, but so do many low level teams. It's not relevant to the Swan, it's relevant to the song.
  • Cover the history of the Swans' home grounds/training bases. We have the SCG, but no others like Lake Oval.

• Rivalries
  • Update the Sydney Derby. Feel like it could do with a little more text to buff it out slightly.
  • West Coast-Sydney is dead. Make note of this in the section.
  • Photo Quality is very poor. Replacement or Removal?
  • Is Hawthorn-Sydney still alive? Also, remove recency. Hawthorn and Sydney were uncompetitive for many of the same years (50s, 60s), is there anything relevant there?

• Players
  • Combine Reserves team into this section. Done
    • Maybe cut back on the prose for the reserves team. Good that they've got their own section, no need to go overboard for their reserves though.
  • Remove duplicate Corporate members??? Done

• Corporate
  • Add the Sponsors here. Can add a table if needbe, but not a priority.

• Supporters
  • Text looks fine, but it may need weeding. Won't rule out changing it to focus more on fanbase demographics ala St Kilda.
  • Add Number One Ticket Holders
  • Standardise the Membership-Attendance table.

• Partnerships
  • Are there any? St Kilda and Sydney played in Wellington, could be a possible mention. Pride match, if it's a partnership?

• Honour Boards
  • Change the Honour Board as per other articles
  • Team of the Century + Hall of Fame + Military Service if applicable

• Achievements
  • Club Done
    • Remove the Nil sections. Completely uneeded, it's to show achievement and having Nil is pointless. Done
  • Individiual
    • Formatting is atrocious. Must fix. Done
    • Remove the headings and replace with bold text. Done
    • If required, add more medals
  • All Australian
    • Add it! The Port Page version should be relevant as South Melbourne players qualified.

  • Move to a seperate page/link to a seperate page. Brings too much clutter. Pending

  • Remove Media Section. Largely irrelevant to the club Done

• Generalised Page Cleanup
  • Combine 2009-2011 seasons as 'Foundation'
    • Remove the templates regarding the inaugural teams, which are largely irrelevant.
    • Combine Recruitment and the above new Foundation section
  • Combine Stadium and Club Symbols
  • Remove Coaching Staff section
  • Combine the three honour boards under one universal section
  • Group the three squads (AFL, Reserves and AFLW) under one 'Players' section'
  • Move Club Records below Club Achievements
• Expand Individual Awards.
• Do the Suns have a Hall of Fame? If so, combine it with the honour board section.
• Create a new supporter section
  • Include information about the supporter coverage of the Suns across QLD
  • Add the Suns TV information to this section
• Condense the size of the Carrara section. Make note of any deals they've had (i.e Cazaly)
• Add a Partnership section, include information about the China partnership in conjuction with Port Adelaide.
