Springville, also known as the Village of Spring Creek, was a small village established around 1850. The village never really took off, and disappeared by 1910. Today, the planned Village of Spring Creek is inside Hersheypark.

History[edit]

Eight lots were laid out by Martin L. Nissley on land owned by him. Lot No. 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 were all sold for homes. Lot No. 2 was split between Lot No. 1 and Lot No. 3, Lot No. 6 was split into two halves, and a portion (as much as one-half) of Lot No. 8 was split to Lot No. 7.
