Posting a request because Kephir hasn't edited in three years.
Please apply this patch.
This script is loading the mediawiki.action.edit module on every page, even when not editing. This fires the wikipage.editform hook. While that's not a new problem, a recent update to commons:MediaWiki:Gadget-ProveIt.js (courtesy ping Sophivorus) is now causing a distracting fixed-position ProveIt link to show up on every mainspace page.
This patch just checks that the user is actually editing before doing anything else. Suffusion of Yellow (talk) 21:49, 27 July 2023 (UTC)
