A page you created, U Card Office, has been tagged for deletion, as it meets one or more of the criteria for speedy deletion; specifically, it is about a real person, group of people, band, club, company, organisation, or web content, but does not indicate why its subject is important or significant.

I will make my U Card Office page better by the middle of next week. I don't have enough time right now to complete it. Please do not delete it yet, I just need some time. Thanks Linda Golden (talk) 21:05, 24 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Unspecified source/license for Image:U Card for wiki.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:U Card for wiki.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

The article U Card has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group or service and which would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. • Not only does the page seem like advertising (especially the "U Card Services and Applications" section), but it also just doesn't seem like a particular university's ID/charge card is a notable enough topic for an encyclopedia. Every college has a card like this, and there doesn't seem to be anything particularly unusual or noteworthy about this one. Thanks, NawlinWiki (talk) 17:06, 20 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
