The Choice is an upcoming Netflix political thriller television series starring Julie Delpy as a fictional French president and Suranne Jones as a fictional British prime minister.

Premise[edit]

At an international summit between the French and British leaders goes awry when the husband of the British Prime Minister is kidnapped and the French president is blackmailed.[1]

Production[edit]

The series is written by Matt Charman. Netflix is producing together with Binocular Productions. Julie Delpy and Suranne Jones were confirmed in the lead roles in March 2024.[2] The cast also includes Corey Mylcreest, Lucian Masmati, Ashley Thomas, James Cosmo and Jehnny Beth.[3] Filming began that month.[4]
