Packard was a luxury car built in America from 1899-1958. Packard's flagship vehicle during the 1910s and 1920s was the Twin Six and it was a very popular vehicle with those who could afford it. Between 1924 and 1930, Packard was the top-selling luxury brand. To stimulate sales even more, Packard created a scaled-down version, called the Single Six. Introduced in 1920, it had half the cylinders of its twin-six counterpart.

In 1924 the Single Eight was introduced, on 136 or 143 in wheelbase.
In 1925, the Single Eight became the Eight, the Single Six, the Six
Available in 1926 was the 2 door Coupe, Convertible or Runabout, 4 door Sedan, Phaeton or Limousine.
