Boletellus deceptivus Halling & Fechner

Image location: Yarrahapinni State Forest, North of Grassy Head, New South Wales, Australia

Well developed Specimen with good colouring . Area Eucalyptus rain forest.

Recognized by sight: Coarse scales with whitish tips; stipe white to tan to pale brown. Boletellus emodensis has fine scales and a red stipe.
