For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.  Merseburg, Güterbahnhof
Zentralbild Schaar 22.1.71 Bez.Halle-Merseburger Eisenbahner rufen zum Wettbewerb- Die Eisenbahner des Dienstortsbereiches Merseburg-Großkorbetha geben mit ihrem Wettbewerbsprogramm allen 250000 Eisenbahnern der Republik ein Beispiel. Ihr Hauptanliegen ist: Beschleunigung des Warenumlaufs durch sozialistische Rationalisierung. Durch eine einheitliche Transporttechnologie konnten die wagonumlaufzeiten um mehrere Stunden verringert werden. Durch diese Initiative wurde wertvoller zusätzlicher Transportraum geschaffen. Unser Bild zeigt eine Teilübersicht des Güterbahnhofs Merseburg. (Siehe auch K 0122-07-1N und die ADN-Meldungen 1903 u. 1938 v.20.1.71) |
