Im Jahr 2022 vereinigten sich die acht Gemeinden Bad Zurzach, Baldingen, Böbikon, Kaiserstuhl, Rekingen, Rietheim, Rümikon und Wislikofen unter dem neuen Namen Zurzach. Die blauen Wellenlinien stehen für je eine der Gründergemeinden und symbolisieren gemeinsam den Rhein.
