This locator map image could be re-created using vector graphics as an SVG file. This has several advantages; see Commons:Media for cleanup for more information. If an SVG form of this image is available, please upload it and afterwards replace this template with {{vector version available|new image name}}.

It is recommended to name the SVG file “Nyafolkland.svg”—then the template Vector version available (or Vva) does not need the new image name parameter.

Summary

Description
English: Map of Uppland, a historical province Sweden, divided into "folklands" and the smaller "härads", circa 1250.
Legend:
Attundaland ("the land of the eight hundreds"), today named Attunda
Fjädrundaland [sic] ("the land of the four hundreds"), today named Fjärdhundra, with a more modern spelling
Roden (from Old East Norse roðer, i.e. "rowing"), today roughly equivalent to Roslagen
Tiundaland ("the land of the ten hundreds"), today named Tiunda
Note: A "hundred" equals 100 men. A Viking leidang ship had twelve pairs of oars, each pair handled by eight men. A single "hundred" was therefore supposed to line up with 8 × 12 = 96 men, to which were added four helmsmen, a total of 100 men.

Not: Ett "hundare" motsvarar 100 män.
