DescriptionOld An Óige Youth Hostel at Ballingeary, Co Cork - geograph.org.uk - 359353.jpg
English: Old An Óige Youth Hostel at Ballingeary, Co Cork Ballingeary Youth Hostel opened in 1971 and closed in 1982. It was situated at Bridge House, at the west end of the village. The building has been greatly altered since its return to domestic use; part has been demolished, and the old whitewash finish has been removed. I remember it as a very cramped little place, with a tiny kitchen. At the back of the building there was once a strange corrugated iron structure, now gone.
