Summary
| Description |
TMC stands for TIptree Manure Company,and the offshoot firm, TMC Haulage is still in business. They had a large fleet of tippers like this in the late 1970s. This one was very new at the time of the photo which was taken, from memory, in a side street off the Causeway between Maldon and Heybridge.. The design of cab would not look out of place 30 years later. This vehicle seems to have been registered in Yorkshire. As modified here New 17 Feb 1978. Delicensed by 1 December 1983 - rather a short life! |
