Constructed in opus reticulatum, the Amphitheatre is located on the left side of Via Flaminia, in an external area relative to the city center. It is one of the most imposing monuments of the city of Ocriculum, partially constructed and partially leaning into the excavated hill to allow for the support of the masonry structures. The major axes measure approximately 128 x 98 m; there is not much left of the external part of the monument, while the cavea retains a few segments of the intermediate gallery, the stepped tiers, a more internal gallery and a low passageway. The level of the arena with part of the podium and the remains of two main entranceways on the major axes, are also visible.
