It is a web-resolution image; any copies made from it would be of inferior quality. It was reduced in size by 80% and in pixellation by 50%.
It does not limit the copyright owner's rights to produce the film or harm future sales.
The image is significant because it is a group shot of the characters, showing the costumes and makeup used for the main characters, all teenagers.
No public domain or free image could be substituted, as all screenshots from the film are copyrighted.
The image can be found on various websites, and its use on Wikipedia in poorer format does not make it significantly more accessible than it already is.
