Average wages is far less relevant than average household income. If 50% of average household income being spent on a mortgage is "affordable" (which the 1950's/60's part of the graph suggests), then the current situation is affordable. 59.167.126.21 (talk) 11:56, 20 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
