This category is for child characters in all genres of television programs. As with real children, the term refers to characters who are understood to be under age 18 during the course of a programme in which they are depicted. In the case of characters who mature to adulthood in the course of the story, articles should only be included in this category if the character's childhood experiences form a notable part of the story.
