File system vs. partition/network file transfer protocol/software/…[edit]

Sorry, but in which universe is a partition table a file system? There are various partition-related articles included here, which is IMHO wrong. APM is not a file system. AFP is not a file system. The Apple ISO 9660 Extensions are not a file system, but an extension to an already existing file system (one can argue about that, so this is probably in the right category), asr is not a file system, Boot Camp and Time Machine are definitely not a file system, and so on. ‣Andreas 13:31, 24 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
