"While in office, Greenspun welcomed Clinton as a house guest while Clinton was fundraising in southern Nevada." The placement of the phrase "while in office" ties it to "Greenspun." Clearly, someone meant to say while Clinton was in office.

I'm not correcting it because I don't think this is a notable factoid, but in an article about a newspaper, maybe grammar should matter? 184.0.94.83 (talk) 22:50, 19 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
