Wrong dates[edit]

Can someone look at the dates and fix them? He's the oldest person ever if these dates are to be believed. FP —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.179.136.73 (talk) 23:00, 22 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Not sure why this guy is notable[edit]

If this obscure academic is notable enough to justify a Wikipedia article, so is nearly every professor at my law school, some of whom are routinely quoted in the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, and the Economist, and have published many, many books in their own names (as opposed to merely contributing chapters to someone else's books). --Coolcaesar (talk) 14:48, 7 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I totally agree. Get rid of him. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.184.247.54 (talk) 05:30, 5 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

After some fact-checking and rewriting, he has at least 3 books published. I think he was included based not on being a professor but rather the claims of "director of the National Centre for Corporate Law and Policy Research", "deputy director of the National Institute for Governance", "associate dean for research", and "co-director of the cross-disciplinary Centre for Comparative Law, History, and Governance". He may indeed be borderline notable, but which side of the border? I don't know how rare or notable those titles are in Australia, since notability is also evaluated relatively to locales and fields – maybe something to ask to WikiProject Australia and WikiProject Academics (cf. tags above)?  The Little Blue Frog (ribbit) 20:07, 9 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It is a total mystery to me why this person warrants an entry in Wikipedia. If he deserves one then all professors deserve one. I vote for getting rid of him. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.84.208.25 (talk) 17:12, 11 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Little Blue Frog: those titles are nothing special. This article should go. --Rofish (talk) 22:49, 4 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
