Israel Section on Foreign Policy[edit]

In the Ukraine section, the following paragraph is present:

After the Iranian attack on Israel in April 2024, Nausėda criticized the "unacceptable double standards" of European countries and the United States regarding military aid to Ukraine and Israel, saying that "if we are principled and really stand for democratic values, we should support both [countries], and not calculate – we give this much to one and that much to the other."

This feels out of place in the Ukraine section, given that the only relevant factor is that he compared Israel with Ukraine. It is not a foreign policy pertaining to Ukraine, it is a foreign policy pertaining to Israel.

I would ordinarily make this change pretty fast but given this topic being in the news due to his recent election and featured on the front page of Wikipedia I figured it was worth opening this for discussion. Lunsel (talk) 20:53, 28 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Just as a bookkeeping note, I've instituted this change as of yesterday. Lunsel (talk) 13:09, 30 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
