A citation is needed at the end of the second paragraph of the page. There is a statement that, "In 2024, the DPRK formally abandoned efforts to peacefully reunify Korea." This should be accompanied by a citation. Masonicscribe (talk) 11:44, 6 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Not done: since the claim is easily attributable and a citation is already provided in the linked article, there is no need to clutter the lead. M.Bitton (talk) 14:58, 6 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I recommend SERIOUS efforts to rewrite the entire page[edit]
The whole page makes suppositions and judgements that are not the place of an encyclopedia to make. It is not the place of wikipedia to decide who is evil or who is good, and there are a lot of statements that have no sources whatsoever that dramatically need them, such as calling the country a "totalitarian dictatorship with no elections similar to the soviet union" with no sources on that topic. If i am to believe that Wikipedia cares about the truth and is impartial than this is unnacceptable Drzaiusoffical (talk) 04:56, 11 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Please give specific examples and cite policy-based reasons for your grievances and suggestions. Asking other editors to conduct a task as monumentous as an entire rewrite and offering zero specifics or proposals is as helpful as talking to a wall about your grievances. You feel good after soapboxing to nobody, but nothing gets changed.
Regarding your paraphrased sentence, content in the introductory paragraphs is often repeated and sourced in the body paragraphs because the lead is meant to reflect information in the article body. The "unsourced" sentence in the lead is sourced in the section Government and politics. Yue🌙 05:37, 11 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
