Auto Raja is a 1982 Indian Tamil-language film, directed by K. Vijayan. The film stars Vijayakanth, Jaishankar and Gayathri. It is a remake of the 1980 Kannada film of the same name with Gayatri reprising her role from the original.[citation needed] The film was released on 27 March 1982.[1]

Soundtrack[edit]

The soundtrack was composed by Shankar–Ganesh and Ilaiyaraaja composed one song "Sangathil Paadatha", which he reused from Olangal.[2] The lyrics for all songs were written by Pulamaipithan. Except "Sangathil Paadatha" which was composed by Ilaiyaraaja, rest of the songs were composed by Shankar–Ganesh.[3][4]

Kalki wrote Thengai Srinivasan's acting overshadowed other actors in the film.[5]
