Benjamin Jakobsen (born 8 September 1996) is a Norwegian politician for the Labour Party. A deputy representative to the Storting, he has met permanently since June 2023.

Biography[edit]

Jakobsen was born on 8 September 1996. He hails from Askøy, and has been a member of the municipal council of Askøy since 2019.[1]

He was elected second deputy representative to the Storting from the constituency of Hordaland for the period 2021–2025, for the Labour Party.[2] He replaced Marte Mjøs Persen in the Storting from June 2023 while Persen and Lubna Jaffery are government ministers.[1] In the Storting, he was a member of the Standing Committee on Scrutiny and Constitutional Affairs from 30 June 2023.[2]
