Bidadari Yang Terluka (English: "Rage of Angel") is a 1997 Indonesian romantic fantasy television series directed by Christ Helweldery from a screenplay by Eddy D. Iskandar. The series stars Ria Irawan, Donny Damara, Bella Saphira, Dian Nitami and Nafa Urbach in their respective lead roles.

Synopsis[edit]

Novia, a motherish, patient girl who did wrong with her mother, Laksmini and her father, Koswara. Her mother-in-law, Herawati, hates her, when Erdin initially married to Miranda. Hariman later decided to marry Erdin with Novia in a family relationship with Laksmini. Later, Hariman reported that Herawati murders Novia, then he abruptly drives his car in high speed until it crashes and dies. She was later hospitalized with the new face and identity, Mayang, following Ricky's proposal.

In early 1997, after the success of Harkat Wanita, Starvision announced that Ria Irawan was preparing to shoot the series in Jakarta, Batam and Singapore for release in June. On June 2, 1997, Starvision officially announced a new series, Bidadari Yang Terluka for release at RCTI four days later.[2][3]

Music[edit]

The series' composer, Dwiki Dharmawan composed the orchestral score, making his fourth collaboration with the series' writer, Eddy D. Iskandar after Nikita, Harkat Wanita and Tirai Kasih Yang Terkoyak. The title theme "Bidadari Yang Terluka" was written by Dharmawan and Iskandar, and performed by Dharmawan's widow, Ita Purnamasari.[4]
