The British Fencing Championships are held annually to determine the British champion. The Championships are currently held at the English Institute of Sport, Sheffield or the Lee Valley Athletics Centre.[1] These championships (known as the Nationals) are not to be confused with a new Championship introduced in 2023 called the British Open Championships, where any athlete can compete and are not restricted to British athletes.[2]

The championships were not held during World War I, World War II and in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.[3]
