Listed buildings, as designated by the Department for Communities.

Listed buildings in Northern Ireland are graded to show their relative importance, however, all listed buildings are protected to the same extent. The grades are used within the grants system where higher levels of grant are available for higher grant buildings. The grading system also allows students of historic buildings to see which buildings are considered to be the most important.
