Inclusion[edit]

I have noted here that there seems to be some inconsistency as to what is included in the Scottish television series by decade categories. The London set, but BBC Scotland produced Life of Riley is included here, but he Dublin set Mrs. Brown's Boys, also produced by BBC Scotland and filmed in Glasgow, is not. Nor is All Round to Mrs. Brown's although at least one segment of it was actually set in Scotland and filmed at Loch Lomond. Waterloo Road is also not included - the first 7 series although made for BBC Scotland were entirely shot and set in England, but its last few series were set in Greenock and made in Scotland. My own view is that these categories should be for programmes made and set in Scotland rather than generic series produced for a UK audience, but I think this is worth further discussion.
