FLutists or just flute players?[edit]

It seems like a list of jazz flutists should consist of people in jazz for whom the flute was their primary instrument. Not just anyone who happened to play flute on the side in addition to other instruments, and not someone whose primary genre was something other than jazz, who just happened to dabble in jazz a couple of times.

Case in point: While John Coltrane could play flute, in a discography of over 70 albums, he only plays flute on one, and only on two tracks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.95.43.253 (talk) 19:23, 22 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
