@Good Olfactory:, you have just added "Indian Hindus" as a super-category for this one. I don't think it is appropriate. BJP is not explicitly a Hindu party and there are certainly some Muslims in it, e.g., Asifa Khan. And, what would you do to include the Indian Hindus in the Congress party? I don't think it makes sense to mix religion and political parties, unless the parties themselves have a religious base. Kautilya3 (talk) 08:31, 4 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
You can remove it if you want to. The vast majority of its politicians are Hindus, but not 100 per cent as you point out. BJP is a "Hindu nationalist" party, so there is at least a peripheral connection to religion. This is not the case with the INC. Good Ol’factory(talk) 08:59, 4 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
