Contesting speedy[edit]

I am contesting the speedy deletion of this category, because (a) it isn't empty, and (b) so few articles link here because the category was removed from articles redirected by nom as non-notable without consensus, as well as removed by nom from several templates put up for deletion (also by nom). Note—I'm not saying the articles that were previously in this category are notable; I haven't had the chance to look through them. What I'm saying is, it would be much better to reach a consensus on their notability before redirecting them and deleting their respective categories and templates.
