Scope[edit]

@Suite1408: Are you intending this as a category for all Catholics who are libertarian? Or are you intending it for Catholics specifically in the Christian libertarian tradition? 207.161.86.162 (talk) 01:28, 10 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

It's for all Catholics that are libertarians.Suite1408 (talk) 02:56, 10 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Suite1408: In that case, is this category compliant with WP:CAT/EGRS? The guideline provides that we should "not create categories that are a cross-section of a topic with an ethnicity, gender, religion, or sexual orientation, unless these characteristics are relevant to the topic." (This is reinforced in, e.g., the CfD of Category:Christian socialists by denomination a year ago.) If we are to limit to cases where religion is relevant to the subject's libertarianism such as to be a defining characteristic of the subject, are we not then limited to including only Catholics specifically in the Christian libertarian tradition? 207.161.86.162 (talk) 03:39, 10 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
