Category Rename[edit]

Perhaps being overly technical, but this category should be renamed "Culture of the United Kingdom". "British" culture does technically imply culture of the island of Great Britain, but this category obviously refers to the Northern Irish culture also. I know in common parlance "United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland" can be known as "Britain", but referring to it as the "United Kingdom" would less ambiguous. Afterall, the main article for this category is "Culture of the United Kingdom", not "British Culture". — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ravensburg13 (talkcontribs) 20:20, 11 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

That would go against the guideline at Wikipedia:Category_names#Socio-cultural_topics. – Fayenatic London 21:33, 1 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
