How is Category:Display technology different from Category:Displays? Shawnc 10:41, 8 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I would think theoretically, that display technologies is stuff used in displays, which just plain displays is actual displays (like a seven-segment display or whatever), however, it looks like some things are mis-categorized, but anyway, that's what I think the distinction is. --Ctachme 14:36, 8 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Missing market perspective[edit]

What is missing is this entire category is the market perspective. When were the different technologies introduced in main-stream products and when did sales show a take-off? Historical develeopment of markets shares and relative prices?
