Contested deletion[edit]

I strongly contest the deletion:

I created the initial category which I initially named Cancelled festivals because of the 2020 COVID pandemic. At that time, there were approximately 20 festivals in this category. The category was renamed to the current name, which was OK. But now some editors decided that it was meant for specific events and not festivals, and I really don't know why (I'm again reminding that I created the category in the first place). Then because of this all festivals which were included in the category were removed from it. Now it's empty and it is proposed to deletion. I strongly contest the deletion, and I propose to re-add the festivals which were IMO wrongly removed from it. By the way I really don't know why people decided that it only is for specific event (nothing in the title of the category or even in the text presenting it say that). It was absolutely not my intention when I created the initial one. Hervegirod (talk) 08:07, 22 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
