This category would satisfy what the Da Vinci code is: not a Christian film, but a film about relgion. This category would also include every film in which religion is a major player.--Drboisclair 01:00, 17 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with you on that, also "The Last Temptation of Christ" would suitably go here. Problem is the title is a horrible piece of English, the proper phrase should be "Religious films" or "Films on the subject of Religion". :: Kevinalewis : (Talk Page)/(Desk) 09:14, 17 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I agree should be titled "Religious films". I will request. nirvana2013 (talk) 20:03, 14 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
For the reasons I mentioned above I don't think so. These deserve a more considered debate, not a speedy rename. :: Kevinalewis : (Talk Page)/(Desk) 10:42, 15 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
To rename this "Religious films" would not allow the The DaVinci Code to be categorized because "religious" implies that the film would be espousing religion rather than a film that deals with religion objectively without praise or blame. That would be the case with The DaVinci Code, which had been categorized as a Christian film, which it certainly is not. It should remain "religion films" because that is a more succinct title than something like "films which concern religion." Leave well enough alone if possible.--drb (talk) 13:36, 15 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
