What is meant by Highland[edit]

I notice that that the constituencies included in this category are all ones which would now be partly or wholly in the modern area covered by Highland Council (though in the case of Argyllshire only just as only one small part of that seat is now in the modern Highland Council area). This is fair enough, but it could be assumed from the wording that it would include all historic constituencies in the broader area known as the Scottish Highlands which would mean adding others such as Kinross and Western Perthshire and some of the Aberdeenshire seats. I therefore wonder if there needs to be some text making clear the definition of Highland that is being applied (ie the Council area). Dunarc (talk) 23:03, 4 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
