Problem[edit]

The current category seems unsatisfactory. The players are split between a category of 1) "Queensland-origin" players, who may not have played qafl 2) "Non-Qld-origin" individuals playing some level of Queensland AFL comptetition eg Jeff White 3) Qld-origin players in Qld AFL competitions eg Robert Copeland

Hi. I'm not quite sure what you are trying to say. No one is splitting players between their origin and I don't believe there are any 'Queensland-origin players who may not have played qafl' in this category. It is simply categories for Australian (or Irish) footballers who played in a QAFL club. Just like Category:Northcote Football Club players and Category:Glenelg Football Club players, whether or not they are from the state in question has no bearing. Cheers.
