This strikes me as a bit of a daft category, since the vast majority of pop culture involves bitching and whining about not having any cash. Just look at the entirety of Country and Western music, for a start. Famousdog (talk) 15:45, 14 November 2008 (UTC) Well if you think it is pointless, you could always call for its deletion. Please note though that there will have to be a discussion before it can be deleted. ACEOREVIVED (talk) 22:52, 29 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I have added "The Only Way is Up" by Yaz and the Plastic Population to this category. Just think of the opening lyrics:

Being on the bottom rung Sure ain't no fun If we get evicted Then we will have to leave home

If that is not about poverty, I do not know what is! ACEOREVIVED (talk) 22:43, 29 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Surely the most obvious song to go here would be Money's_Too_Tight_(To_Mention) by Simply Red? ACEOREVIVED (talk) 09:53, 30 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It seemed such an obvious song to go here that I have now added it to the list! ACEOREVIVED (talk) 10:05, 30 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
