Montenegrin language origin? what does that even mean? It should be Serbian-language origin in that case since the Montenegrin idiom was registered as Serbian prior to the Montenegrin independence, and surnames with history millenia older than the first mention of "montenegrin" i.e. the Serbian surnames labeled as Montenegrin. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.32.37.3 (talk) 04:21, 14 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Because they are Montenegrin surnames, not Serbian, they all trace origin from Montenegro not from Serbia. I agree that the "language" is not necessary. 78.155.34.167 (talk) 23:13, 27 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
