I'm not aware of the procedures for a surname like Cartridge, which I created a page for, as its origin is a debatable. The article for it states this and as far as I'm aware nobody has been able to clarify precisely whether it is of Norman or Anglo-Saxon origin.

Houseofnames.com is not a reliable source at all - it's a bucket shop. It's easy to find better sources, look through Google Books. I tidied up the surname article a bit. The name dates to the 1500s BTW.--Brianann MacAmhlaidh (talk) 08:04, 17 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
