Comments[edit]

Hi The Bushranger! I see that you emptied Category:Turkish cuisine restaurants by deleting the related articles' cats. May I kindly ask your rationale for that? What about all the subcats of Category:Ethnic restaurants? Are you going to apply the same to them?

On the other hand, you comment while deleting that "removed Category:Turkish cuisine restaurants using HotCat (redundnant to Category:Restaurants in Turkey > Category:Restaurants in Istanbul))". However, the named cats have different fields. A restaurant can be located in Istanbul or Turkey, and may have Chinese, Italian, Mexican etc. cuisine. Must all Istanbul/Turkey-based restaurants be of Turkish cuisine or vice versa? Even then, how has restaurant location the same meaning with type of cuisine?

Appreciate your comments. --CeeGee 07:09, 15 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The reasons for that were that 'Turkish cuisine restaurants' completely duplicated 'Turkish restaurants'. If it's populatable with worldwide Turkish-ethnic restauraunts, then it should absolutely be kept. - The Bushranger One ping only 08:00, 15 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
